Tool inputs
Nothing you type into calculators, generators, or converters is submitted to Widgetools as a form upload. There are no accounts and no registration forms that store personal profiles. Tool logic runs in your session on your device.
Cookies and tracking
Widgetools sets one functional cookie: visitor-age, which stores the age you enter on the homepage to align the timeline. It contains only a number, expires at the end of your session, and is not used for cross-site advertising.
Pages load Google Analytics (gtag.js) for aggregate traffic and referral statistics. This measures page views and similar events — not the contents of tool fields. You can use standard browser controls or extensions to limit analytics cookies if you choose.
There are no advertising trackers or social media pixels.
Local storage
Some tools use browser localStorage to remember your last inputs between visits (for example, mortgage fields). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to Widgetools.
Server logs
The web host receives standard HTTP request logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent). Logs support debugging and security; they are not combined into personal profiles and are purged on a rolling basis.
Third-party services
The Internet Speed Test measures your connection by requesting Cloudflare's public speed test endpoints (speed.cloudflare.com). Those requests are governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy. Other tools do not phone home to third-party APIs as part of their core function.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy is updated, the "Last updated" date at the top changes. The policy will not become more permissive without prominent notice.
