What is Widgetools
Widgetools provides free utility tools organized along a life timeline — from birth through childhood, school, work, home ownership, family, health, retirement, and legacy. The timeline is a navigation aid: it surfaces tools by the age when many people first need them, instead of relying on flat category menus alone.
How the tools work
Each tool page runs its logic on your device. Calculations, text transforms, and file-style outputs are produced without transmitting what you type to Widgetools. Closing the tab clears in-memory state; some tools optionally remember fields in local storage on your device (see the privacy policy). The exception is the Internet Speed Test, which measures latency and throughput against Cloudflare's public endpoints — described on that tool's page and in the privacy policy.
This design suits tools that handle sensitive figures — loan balances, health estimates, passwords — because you do not send those inputs to Widgetools as part of using the calculator.

Methodology, formulas, and limitations are documented on each tool page. Read the editorial policy and use corrections if something looks wrong.
Privacy
No accounts and no tracking pixels for advertising. See the privacy policy for cookies, local storage, optional aggregate analytics, and server logs.
